FREE FITNESS CLASSES FOR Y MEMBERS
We offer free land based fitness classes to our members.
Classes like Boot Camp, Zumba, Pilates, Step Aerobics, Cycle Reebok,
Body and Soul and Lunch Crunch are free to Y members.
MEMBERS: FREE    NON-MEMBERS: $35
Daily Pass Rates (Non-member): Youth $4, Adult $8, Family $14
Not Included: Body Pump & Youth Strength & Cardio

There is a minimal charge to pay for equipment. Classes sizes are limited.

Unless otherwise marked, classes meet in the downstairs multi-purpose room.

ADULT COED ULTIMATE FRISBEE LEAGUE

Ultimate Frisbee is an exciting,"non-contact" team sport,
played by thousands the world over. It mixes the best features of sports
such as Soccer, Basketball, American Football and Netball into
an elegantly simple yet fascinating and demanding game of Frisbee.
It's also a great way to get in shape and have fun doing it!

BodyPump

The original weight class that builds strength, tones your body, and leaves you feeling healthy and fit. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for - and fast!

4ON 4 SAND VOLLEYBALL

Get your sandals and sunscreen! It's time for Sand Volleyball. 4 weeks of pool-play and a double elimination tourney! Any mix of gender on a team. Rosters and rules are available at the YMCA! Sign up now, limit 16 teams.

INTERMEDIATE CROCHET

NO JUNE SESSION

JULY SESSION
This session will meet on Wednesdays for 4 weeks for 1 1/2 hours to work together on our projects. Crochet experience is required.

You will need to bring: I crochet hook, 2 balls of acrylic or cotton yarn, pair of scissors and a tote to carry your project. This session's project: Market/Beach Bag

Begins: July 10th-July 31st
Cost: $10/members and $15/non-member

SENIOR CARD DAY

Come and bring your friends to senior card day!!! It's the most happening thing in Chillicothe on every 3rd Friday of every month. We hope to see you there. Refreshments provided. 12:30-3:30pm in the YMCA Multi-Purpose Room.

Golf Simulator

If you haven't been to see the golf simulator, you are missing out. We'll take you through a short orientation, and you'll be ready to swing. With its second-to-none features and its state-of-the-art technology, it will be like you are on the green. But, you don't get rained on. It's located upstairs in the newly constructed cardio and free weight area.

Cost by the hour: $1.00 per hour for members / Non-Members $4.00/hour and must be accompanied by a member who has been through the orientation

There is no cost for the 45-minute orientation.

Come play at Men’s Open Basketball on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30pm at the YMCA! Free to members - others must buy a daily pass or be a guest of a member (with a signed guest pass).

The YMCA organization started in Chillicothe in 1989 but 2012 will be the 20th year for the YMCA building. The biggest change since 1992 when the doors first opened, has been in 1999 when the Browning Gymnasium was added, along with a gymnastics center, activities center and weight room.

It's a 3-mile Power Walk! This class includes brisk walking and simple steps set to fast-paced music to improve cardio fitness, the use of weights to tone the muscles, and an emphasis on posture and balance to strengthen your Core.

Silver Sneakers

Silver Sneakers I - Muscular Strength and Range of Movement

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Handheld weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Lifestyle Assessments
Get a fitness test to evaluate your cardio respiratory fitness, body composition, flexibility, muscular strength, and endurance. The test involves a bench step test, sit and reach test, half sit up test, bench press, and skinfold measures to calculate percentage of body fat. A program will be set up for you as a result of your testing.

Fee: $20 (Members only)

Need a place to hold a club or business meeting?
The YMCA Multi-Purpose Room is available for rent on a limited basis.
It is equipped with a kitchen, tables and chairs. Available for business, social,
and club meetings of all kinds. Call for details and availability: 646-6677.

Health Fair at the YMCA

Lock-Ins
Your school group, church, or youth organization can rent the YMCA for Lock-Ins on either Friday or Saturday nights. Cost is $5 per student; there is a minimum charge of $225 & and a maximum charge of $450.00. The facility is available from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The renting group must provide chaperones and proof of insurance. Advance registration is required. Call Dave Rogers at 660-646-6677 or email him to schedule a lock-in.
