Dates have been set and I'm pleased to invite you to participate in the 16th annual YMCA Summer High School Basketball League. Students going into the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade will be junior varsity. Students going into the 10th, 11th, and 12th grade will be varsity. We are planning on having Girls varsity and Boys junior varsity games on Wednesday nights and Girls junior varsity and Boys varsity on Thursday nights. Play begins on Wednesday night, June 8, and continues for seven (7) straight weeks, ending Thursday night, July 21.

The games will be played at the Chillicothe Middle School Field House and the Grand River Area Family YMCA. Coaches packets are available at both the Grand River Area YMCA and the North Central Missouri YMCA. Registrations are accepted as teams only (minimum of 8 players needed to form a team).

Please print copies of the registration forms to hand out to each of your prospective players. The registration deadline is April 30th; please make every effort to send a team roster with those forms you have by April 30, 2005. Every year we have to turn away teams. Once the deadline passes, we cannot guarantee your team a spot. Individual players may be added to your roster(s) after April 30; the T-shirts will be ordered May 12 and so we'd like to have the final roster in by then.

The cost will be $26.00 per player. Please have an adult coach for each team. In case of an emergency (or where an opponent simply can't make it to a game), we need someone responsible to call. If you know in advance of a date that your team can't play, please let us know when you send your roster in and we will schedule accordingly.
