YMCA Membership Cards
Your membership card grants you access to the
facility and allows you to use a locker during your visit. Children must present a
membership card to check out Playstation games. The cards themselves remain the property
of the Grand River Area Family YMCA. Please carry your card with you and show it upon
entering the Y. Cards are not transferable. Loaned cards will be confiscated, and
membership privileges may be rescinded. We ask your cooperation as staff members seek to
maintain a reasonable security system.
A variety of membership rates and payment
plans appear on our Memberships/Scholarships page.

Insurance
The YMCA does not carry health or accident insurance on its members or program
participants. Every person enrolled in any class or working out on their own should make
provision with their family health insurance provider. Participants are required to pay
all expenses incurred from their participation in YMCA activities. Everyone is strongly
encouraged to have his/her physician's approval before beginning an exercise program. The
YMCA assumes no responsibility for injuries or loss of personal property while using the
facilities.
Lock-Ins
Your school group, church, or youth organization can rent the YMCA for
Lock-Ins on either Friday or Saturday nights. Cost is $5 per student; there is a minimum charge of $225 & and a maximum charge of $450.00.

We offer all our members a free orientation and
demonstration on the weight and fitness equipment upstairs in our facility. We also offer
a very affordable Lifestyle Assessment Program to help each person get started or continue
on the road to physical fitness.
-
We believe in Christian values that are put into practice
every day by our staff. We seek to emphasize the four core values of the YMCA: caring,
honesty, respect, and responsibility. We are more than a
fitness facility; we care about each person and want to encourage every individual,
regardless of age, sex, or race, to be the very best in all they attempt to do.
-
We are over 5,000 members strong! Why not join the growing
number of people who are making a personal and family commitment to wholesome recreation
and physical fitness.
-
We are expanding to
meet your needs! Community support of our YMCA continues to be strong. Because of a
successful 1.6 million dollar capital campaign in 1997, we built a new full-sized gymnasium with bleachers, a dedicated gymnastic facility, an
additional fitness room, and a second multi-purpose area. We want to continue our
commitment to excellence and invite you to join with us as we grow.
