Dave Rogers
Executive Director

Dave Rogers has served as the Executive Director of the Grand River Area Family YMCA since January, 1991. He has worked for the YMCA movement for 25 years, starting out as a World Service Worker with the YMCA of Madrid, Spain. He is a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He and his wife, Marty, have two children.

Matt Jones

Matt Jones is the new Program Director. Matt and his wife, Lisa, and their young son Landon have just moved to Chillicothe from Nixa, MO (outside of Springfield). Matt is a graduate of Hannibal LaGrange College with a degree in Sports Management. His parents currently make their home in Norborne, so he has some local connections.

Fontella Mosier
Membership Director

Fontella joined the YMCA staff in September of 2008 as the Membership Director. She has been a Chillicothe resident for over 20 years. During that time, she has worked and volunteered in the community. She is also a licensed real estate agent for Century 21 Smith & Associates. Fontella has two daughters.

Vicky Burns began her YMCA career in 1997 at the North Central Missouri YMCA, Brookfield, as Fitness Coordinator. In June of 2000, she became Fitness Director of the Grand River Area Family YMCA. She now serves both facilities and holds 15 YMCA certifications. She and her husband Jimmy, have two sons and reside in Brookfield.

Debbie Hoyt is the YMCA Aquatic Director. Debbie is a long-time member of the YMCA. She worked for several years as the manager of the outdoor aquatic center for the city of Chillicothe. Monday, August 7, 2006 was her first day on the job.

Sally Peterson
Christian Outreach Director and
Y-PALS Coordinator

Sally became the Y-Pals Director in the fall of 2010. She is a graduate of the University of Central Missouri with a degree in elementary education, as well as being a certified school librarian. She has worked in local school systems for 8 years, 5 of those as a Parent Educator with the Parents As Teachers program. Sally and her husband, Kent, both natives of Chillicothe, have three boys.

Vicki Marrs

Vicki Marrs has been a YMCA member since 1992, and she joined the YMCA staff in 1998. She and her husband, Jerry, operate a cattle ranch and own a popcorn sales route. They have two children and four grandchildren.
