Something Bigger.jpg

Financial assistance keeps the Y available for the kids and families who need us most.  We count on the generosity of our members and community to help people of all ages and from all walks of life be more healthy, confident, connected, and secure.

When you give to the Y, your gift has a positive impact in your own neighborhood and makes your community stronger.  It's only when we work together that we can create lasting personal and social change.

We are a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your gift is tax-deductible as allowed by law.  To make a contribution today, stop by the YMCA Welcome Center, call us at (660) 646-6677, or mail your donation to Grand River Area Family YMCA, 1725 Locust Street, Chillicothe, MO64601.

Partners with Youth

The YMCA philosophy is that no one be denied access to Y memberships or programs due to an inability to pay the fees.  The Partners With You annual fund drive of the Grand River Area Family YMCA subsidizes preschool, youth, teen, and single parent family memberships and programs.  Charitable gifts made to the Partners with Youth Campaign provide funding for scholarships and help to underwrite the costs of youth football, t-ball, swimming, track, basketball, and gymnastics programs.  All donations stay at the Grand YMCA to help your friends and neighbors.

BackPack Buddies

BackPack Buddies is a children's weekend nutrition program in partnership with the Grand River Area Family YMCA, local schools, and Second Harvest Community Food Bank.  Your generous gift of $150 will provide enough nutritious food to sponsor one child, on the weekends, for the entire school year.  That means a child will receive easy to serve breakfasts, lunches and snacks for each weekend during the school year, including extended breaks. Y-PALS

Y-PALS is a program of the Grand River Area Family YMCA that provides children in need with an adult role model and regularly scheduled activities so that children, through one-on-one interactions with an adult volunteer, will receive guidance, a wider variety of appropriate life experiences, and opportunities for friendship and companionship.  Click here to learn more about our Y-PALS program.
