The Y is a cause for strengthening community. That’s why we’re here working with you every day, making sure that you, your family and community have the resources and support you need to learn, grow and thrive.

With a focus on developing the potential of kids, improving individual health and well-being, and giving back and supporting our neighbors, your membership will bring about meaningful change not just within yourself, but in your community too.

Membership Rates

Up to 3 additional adults (over age 19) sharing the same residence may be added to a Family membership at the rate of $20 per month per member.

A $20 service fee will be applied to all rejected ACH or debit/credit transactions.

Members can either pay the annual fee in full or choose the monthly bank draft option. The bank draft system allows members to have their checking or savings account automatically debited each month. Choose either the 1st or the 15th of the month for your fund transfer. Monthly withdrawals may be canceled by completing a cancellation notice IN PERSON at the YMCA Welcome Center no less than FIFTEEN (15) Days in advance of the next scheduled withdrawal. Memberships are non-refundable. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover credit cards and debit cards as well as personal checks.

The YMCA conducts regular sex offender screenings on all members, participants, and guests. If a sex offender match occurs, the YMCA reserves the right to cancel membership, end program participation, and remove visitation access.

Please note that these rates are effective January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024.  For more information about our membership options, please download our Membership Flyer here.

National Reciprocity

  • Members must sign a universal liability waiver and privacy policy. Nationwide members will be required to show a valid Y membership card.

  • Program-only participants are not eligible.

  • Silver Sneakers and other insurance-paid memberships do not qualify.

  • Registered sex offenders may not participate.

Other restrictions apply.  For more information, download the Know Before you Go resource or visit http://www.ymca.net/nationwide-membership .

Share the Y with Your Family

Every Y member receives a free guest pass each year.  Please share these passes with your friends and family who are interested in using the YMCA.  Although we encourage you to join your guests while they visit, it is not required.  Guests may visit our facility a maximum of three times per year before they must purchase a membership or day pass.

Are you expecting family from out of town?  The Y is a great place for families to spend time together.  If you're a member, your grandchildren visiting from outside our service area (Livingston, Daviess, Grundy, Linn, Chariton, Carroll, and Caldwell Counties)  may come to the Y with you for free.  Your adult family members from out of the area are just $2.  Family members who live nearby or who wish to visit the Y on their own will need to purchase a day pass at the regular rate of $10 for adults, $5 for children, or $15 for families.

Dress Code

The Y is a family facility.  We ask that all members and guests consider safety and health guidelines and the YMCA’s core values (Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Faith) when dressing to visit the YMCA.

  • Proper exercise attire is required and should cover the body appropriately. Tops should cover the full chest and midriff and be designated as outerwear.  Bottoms should cover the buttocks at all times.

  • In order to prevent damage to upholstered equipment, please use extreme caution when wearing clothing with zippers, snaps, buttons, etc.

  • Shoes must be closed-toed, cover the entire foot, and be worn in all areas except the locker room and pool area.

  • Swimwear must be modest, clean, and designated for pool use. When entering hallways or other areas of the Y, you must be covered with a shirt, pants/shorts, and footwear.

  • Clothing and jewelry with obscene or vulgar words or images are not acceptable.

The YMCA reserves the right to define inappropriate/offensive attire.  If we feel that your clothing contradicts our core values, we may ask you to change or leave the facility.
